Humans of OUTniagara

Each tattoo I have has a story. Each has greater meaning then it may appear. No matter how ridiculous or unnecessary you may view some tattoos I have, they are everything to me.
Many were done as a form of self-care. Some pulled me through mental health crises. Some helped me slam the door on reckless harmful behavior. Some happened impulsively, manic decision, they still have meaning.
I am able to look at my body and see all the chapters in my life I have survived. I am able to see the strength I have to keep pushing for better and forward. I am able to keep going through wonderful artwork. I am able to honour my Dad each day. I am able to inspire others through simple quotes and art they can relate to.
My tattoos represent the scars I bare that are invisible to the world. They are the emotions I have never been able to express. They are the experiences I am not ready to speak about. My tattoos represent the battle I have fought so far.
