There’s something great a-brewin’ in Beamsville.

Bench Brewing Company has launched the Pride Pack, a 12-can case of beer with $2 of every purchase going to OUTniagara.

The pack also will include a pin with the inclusive pride flag, a small card with OUTniagara’s logo and QR code that leads to more OUTformation, and a thank you.

Last year, Bench donated $5,000 to OUTniagara to support the non-profit’s efforts to serve Niagara’s 2SLGBTGQIA+ community. The donation allowed the OUTniagara board to hire a facilitator to lead the board through anti-oppression training so that it can better acknowledge, understand and support minorities who are typically absent or poorly represented in mainstream 2SLGBTQQIA+ activities and discussions. Bench Brewery’s donation to OUTniagara is an extension of the company’s continuing corporate philanthropy in Niagara. It has also partnered with Community Care of West Niagara, Gillian’s Place, and Pathstone Mental Health.

As part of its corporate culture, staff underwent diversity training delivered by OUTniagara in partnership with the Niagara Falls Community Health Centre last year, and has requested additional training this year.
